Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced Solutions Engineer – Test Data Management (TDM) to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale Test Data Management solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in synthetic data generation, data masking, data subsetting, and automated test data provisioning, working closely with client QA, engineering, DevOps, and business teams to deliver scalable, compliant TDM solutions. This is a client-facing consulting role requiring strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and the capability to manage multiple enterprise engagements simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement end-to-end Test Data Management solutions across enterprise environments.
• Develop data masking, data subsetting, and synthetic data generation strategies aligned with business requirements and compliance regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
• Translate functional and business requirements into scalable, reusable TDM solution designs.
• Build and maintain automated, API-driven test data provisioning workflows supporting integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing.
• Profile enterprise databases to discover, classify, and map Sensitive Data Elements (PII/PHI).
• Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring timely execution, validation, and delivery of test data generation activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve client issues related to test data generation, provisioning, and automation.
• Collaborate with QA, Engineering, DevOps, and Data teams to integrate TDM solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
• Create technical documentation, solution designs, implementation guides, and knowledge-sharing assets.
• Stay current with evolving data privacy regulations, testing methodologies, and enterprise TDM best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in Test Data Management, Data Engineering, QA Automation, or Solutions Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with GenRocket or another enterprise Test Data Management platform.
• Strong understanding of: Synthetic Data Generation, Data Masking, Data Subsetting, Test Data Provisioning.
• Good working knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Databricks, Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and other SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to Apache Kafka or similar messaging platforms is an added advantage.
• Experience validating APIs using Postman and working with API-driven testing workflows.
• Understanding of enterprise data privacy and regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA and GDPR.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional and distributed teams.
